Meet Our BVT Team

BVT Director

Dr. Allison Lyerly

While at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Lyerly developed an interest in visual efficiency/perceptual disorders. She has dedicated her time to help others improve these visual skills through binocular vision training (often referred to as vision therapy). Dr. Lyerly has continued her training with the Optometric Extension Program, which allows her to be on the forefront of advancements in therapeutic practices.

Lead BVT Therapist

Katie Mann, CPO

Katie transitioned to her lead role as BVT therapist in 2015. She was raised in Davidson County and graduated from North Davidson High School in 2005. She continued her education at East Carolina University with a degree in Recreational Therapy. Katie is married with two beautiful daughters. She is extremely passionate about binocular vision training because she loves seeing the confidence her patients gain as they progress through their therapy programs. We are so blessed to have Katie as part of our BVT team!
